Cox’s Pharmacy is an independent family run pharmacy located in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. It was set up by Des and Margaret Cox who met whilst studying pharmacy together in UCD. Margaret who originates from Dunmanway, West Cork married Des in 1971. Together in 1978 they steadily built up the family business in Des’s native town, caring for the people of Carrick-on-Shannon and surrounding areas for the following 20 years.
